Uxorious

How about if your best pal turns out to be a uxorious guy? Can you take it? All your scheduled fun time for "the boys" he sets aside in favor of taking his wife out to see some ballet show or soap opera. And he always does that. His wife's wishes is his command. Then he's a uxorious guy.

Yes, he's the lion in the house, but his wife is his trainer. Yes, what he says is the rule in his house, because his wife says so, and etc. Well, it's not bad to be loving and caring to your wife, even being a little bit uxorious, but not to the point that you become her mere spokesman. That's malaliman.

So, now you know the meaning of "Uxorious." And young man, when you get married, do love your wife--but don't be an intolerable uxorious one. And young lady, when you get married, do submit to your husband--and don't turn him into your uxorious robot.
Uxorious
The best principle here is to love each other in God. That puts a perfect balance on everything. God's love makes you selflessly concerned about the other.

Malaliman. Deeply.
